Our Chippy!!! Independent, sweet, quiet, and quirky. The most easy-keeper and a great breed ambassador. She’s full of substance and coat, which I appreciate in my girlies! Some of her favorite hobbies include rubbing up against bushes and trees (a genetic trait apparently!), getting completely drenched in the rain and snow and loving it, and doing yoga with her mom (she’s gotta be as involved as possible when the mat comes out). 🤣 She’s not insane on the lure, but she will chase fur. Super biddable/treat motivated, and loving training agility and obedience with me. Her OFA results can be found here.
Cecil is one of the most stable and bomb-proof Silkens I’ve had the pleasure of hosting! He is polite, charming, engaging, and silly, just how I like them. He is a natural courser and a clean runner. Per his owner he has never met a stranger, is very confident, goofy and affectionate with a great off switch and high handler focus (which makes him an ideal service dog!). He is a daintier guy and a bit narrow with a steeper topline dropoff, whereas Chippy is beefy with a nice, wide front and a more moderate topline. I think structurally this pairing will complement each other well with the goal being moderate, balanced, and functional. They’re both “typey” in their own way, and I enjoy a good middle ground. I expect fantastic temperaments and pups that love working with their humans as well!
